If the event needs are just these inputs, stop here.
All other inputs to the sound system are on the snake, located on the audience left side of the stage. Snake channels 1-8 are directly connected to channels 1-8 on the sound board.
A cabinet is located on the audience left / south wall of the room near to the stage. That cabinet houses all of the equipment needed for vocal and instruments to connect to the sound system. Please contact Arvada Vineyard A/V or worship staff to get the code to access the cabinet.
It is expected that anyone who has the code to access the equipment will be responsible for ensuring all of the equipment gets put back properly.
For a vocal or speaking microphone the following three items are needed:
Unfold the mic stand from it's storage position and place on stage. Place the microphone into the mic clip. Run the XLR cable from the microphone to the desired input on the snake.
For an instrument that has a direct cable connection the following three items are needed:
Place the direct box in the floor near where the instrument will be played. Check to make sure the pad is turned off and the ground lift is off. Run the XLR cable from the direct box to the desired input on the snake. Connect the instrument cable from the direct box input to the instrument.
